Moment of Clarity

How about this for a moment of clarity as I was ambling along Kitsilano Beach this afternoon - I should become a professor of International Law!

Destination - the rising collosus of the Pacific!

The time has come to restart this travel blog! I've finished the last of my tedious law school exams, caught up with some friends, watched the referees hand the Red Wings game 4, picked up my precious Chinese visa, and started to read my summer time list of books. In other words, life is good.
In 5 days I shall be winging my glorious way to "Red" China. A land of amazing diversity, scope, complexity and potential. I will be studying Chinese Law in Beijing for a month, meeting some fascinating people, and generally diving into China! I hope to see as much of China as I can in two months (sleep is not going to be a huge priority) and then I plan to go to Southeast Asia and whereever else the winds of good fortune take me. My general mentality is to take each day as it comes and live for the moment, so I have not developed any grand plan! I am going to take me whereever my interests and life in general takes me.
I hope to blog when I can, to share stories and insights about China. I am also planning to purchase a digital camera so I hope to share photos of my voyage. I hope that you join me on the adventure!
